Booking information

Know before you choose.

A practical guide to event dates, ticket options, selection totals and the current booking status.

01Explore, choose and review

You can discover events, open their detail pages, choose available ticket options and review your selection on E-ticket. You do not need to sign in to use these features.

On eligible organizer events, review current availability and the final total before checkout. Processing fees are paid by the customer. Paid tickets are issued after server verification; free tickets are issued on booking confirmation. Test mode is clearly labelled and verified test bookings support ticket scanning and check-in. Reference listings remain for discovery only.

If you sign in, your customer dashboard shows your own order and issued-ticket records when they exist. The organiser workspace shows records for events you own. Creating an account or event draft does not populate these lists with bookings. Verified payments and confirmed free bookings generate the corresponding records, with test transactions clearly marked.

02Start with the event details

Read the event's date, time, venue and description before choosing tickets. Published information can change, so check the event page again when making travel or attendance plans. If a venue is not yet announced, E-ticket does not substitute a guessed location.

Times are displayed for the event's local time zone: Nigerian events use West Africa Time (WAT), and events in Accra use Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Your calendar app may display an imported event in your device's time zone, so check its date and time after importing.

03For an event with several shows

Some listings cover more than one date or venue. Use the show selector to choose the performance you want before selecting tickets. The selected show determines its date, venue and ticket options.

Changing to another show clears the current quantities. Choose your tickets again and check the selected date and venue on the review page. A show that has already ended cannot be selected for a new ticket selection.

04Ticket types and quantities

Each ticket type shows its published name, price and any available description. Read the description when comparing options; a table package, a seat at a table and general admission may represent different offers. Do not assume a package includes a particular number of guests unless the listing says so.

Options marked sold out or with unconfirmed availability cannot be selected. The selector allows up to eight of each selectable ticket type as a planning limit. That limit is not a live inventory count or a promise that eight tickets remain.

  • Use the plus and minus controls to adjust the quantity of each ticket type.
  • A free option has a listed price of zero, but selecting it still does not confirm a booking.
  • When an event or selected show has ended, the current selection cannot proceed to review.

05Understanding the total

Prices are shown in Nigerian naira (₦) or Ghanaian cedi (GH₵), according to the event. The subtotal is the sum of the displayed ticket prices multiplied by your selected quantities.

The initial summary is an estimate. Choose Review total & availability on an eligible event to confirm prices and the customer-paid processing fee. Check the complete total and payment mode before continuing. A checkout return page confirms a booking only after the server verifies the payment.

06Reviewing and changing a selection

Choose Review selection after adding tickets. Check the event, show date, venue, ticket types, quantities, currency and subtotal. Use Change ticket selection to return to your choices and adjust them.

The selection page address can include the selected show and quantities. You can reopen that address to review those choices, but it does not hold tickets while you are away. An event link or selection screenshot is not valid proof of admission.

07Planning your visit

Use the event's location information and optional directions link to plan your journey. A map search is an aid to finding the named venue; confirm the entrance or meeting point if the event has specific instructions.

Before attending, check the organiser's entry requirements, age restrictions, accessibility arrangements and any other conditions relevant to you. E-ticket does not invent entry rules where the published listing does not provide them. If you already purchased a ticket elsewhere, follow the entry instructions issued with that purchase.

08Need a little help?

Contact us if a page is not working, a ticket description is unclear or an event detail appears incorrect. Include the event link and explain what you were trying to do so the issue can be understood.

For an existing payment made to another seller, use the contact information on your receipt or booking confirmation. E-ticket cannot access or change that seller's order records.
