The terms of using E-ticket.

01What the service provides

E-ticket by Entertainment Daily is a place to discover publicly listed events, read event details and explore ticket options. These terms explain the current website and should be read alongside the privacy policy and booking information.

You can register an account, use your customer dashboard and enable an organiser workspace to create event drafts. Verified organisers can publish complete events and manage their own event and guest records. Eligible organizer events support checkout in the payment mode shown before you pay. Test transactions collect no real money. Newly verified test bookings provide labelled tickets for testing scanning and check-in. Reference listings cannot be booked through E-ticket. A selection alone does not conclude a purchase. A successful booking requires current inventory and server-confirmed payment, or confirmation of a free booking.

02Your account and sign-in details

Use accurate contact details when creating an account, choose a password you do not share with others, and keep verification and password-reset links private. Do not create an account using someone else's identity or contact details without authority. Sign out after using a shared device.

Choosing to host events sets an organiser role; it does not grant staff access, establish a partnership or make a listing publicly available. Verification and the applicable publishing tools are separate steps. Creating an account does not confirm a booking or guarantee admission.

Email verification and password-reset messages depend on the delivery status shown by the service. An accepted request is not a guarantee that a message reached your inbox. If email delivery is unavailable or you cannot access an account, use the contact page for help and do not send your password.

03Creating and managing events

Only create events you are authorised to organise or represent. Provide accurate dates, timezone, venue, descriptions and ticket conditions, and upload only material you have the right to publish. You are responsible for checking your draft before making it public. An organiser role does not remove the email-verification requirement for publishing and check-in.

Drafts can be changed or deleted. Published event details and ticket options are locked to protect existing records. Cancelling a published event preserves its history and does not automatically notify guests, refund payments or transfer bookings. Contact the team if a published detail needs attention.

Use customer and guest information only for the event-related purpose for which you can access it. Keep admission tokens private and check in only eligible issued tickets. Do not treat an empty dashboard, a selection estimate or a draft event as evidence of sales. Only verified payments and confirmed free bookings create tickets. Newly verified test bookings provide labelled admission tickets for testing. Test payments do not create organizer earnings or payout funds.

04Event information and changes

The site includes sourced public listings and events published by E-ticket organisers. Sourced listings reflect the information available when checked; organiser-created listings reflect the details saved and published by that organiser. Event arrangements and ticket availability can change, so confirm the information relevant to your plans.

The appearance of an event on E-ticket does not by itself mean that its organiser is a partner of E-ticket or Entertainment Daily. An event's organiser remains responsible for the event itself. If information looks incorrect, contact us with the event link and the correction you believe is needed.

05Ticket selections and displayed prices

A ticket selection is a planning tool. Choosing a show, changing quantities, opening a review page or sharing a selection link does not reserve inventory, confirm availability or issue a ticket. Payment is initiated only when you explicitly continue from the final checkout total.

Prices are shown in the currency indicated for the event. A selection subtotal combines the displayed ticket prices and quantities; it is not an invoice or a final amount payable. Eligible checkout adds a customer-paid 5% E-ticket service charge on the ticket subtotal after discounts, rounded up to the smallest currency unit, plus the payment processing fee. Both charges and the final total are shown before Paystack. For upgrades, the 5% applies to the price difference. Free bookings have no service or processing fees. Previously confirmed payments retain their recorded fees.

The quantity limit in the selector is a local planning limit. It does not describe an event's remaining capacity or guarantee that the same number of tickets will be available later.

06Using the website responsibly

Use E-ticket in a way that respects other people, the website and applicable law. Do not use a selection page or screenshot to suggest that a booking has been confirmed.

• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass access controls, introduce harmful code or interfere with other visitors.
• Do not impersonate an organiser, Entertainment Daily or another person, or make misleading claims about tickets or payments.
• Do not submit false reports or send material through a contact channel that infringes another person's rights.
• Respect the rights attached to event posters, photographs, writing, logos and other material you find here.

07Content, branding and external links

Content and branding on E-ticket remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. Browsing the website does not grant ownership of an event poster, photograph, logo or article, or permission to reuse it beyond what its owner or applicable law allows.

Some links open other services, including Entertainment Daily and Google Maps. E-ticket does not set those services' terms or control their content. A link is provided for its stated purpose and is not a guarantee of that service's availability or accuracy.

08Website availability and your rights

The website and its listings may be updated, corrected or temporarily unavailable. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or that a published event detail will remain unchanged. Check the information relevant to your plans, especially before travelling to an event.

These terms do not remove any consumer or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded. They do not establish a refund rule for a purchase made from another seller. If you have a concern about using the site, contact us with enough detail to explain the issue.
