Refunds, cancellations and changes.

Understand what a ticket selection means and where to get help with an existing purchase.

01Payments, test mode and refund requests

Eligible organizer events offer Paystack checkout in the mode shown on the review page. Test transactions collect no real money and create no refundable funds. Newly verified test bookings provide tickets for testing admission. Reference listings do not offer E-ticket checkout.

For a live payment concern, contact support with your order and payment reference. Automated refunds are not enabled. Refund requests, including processing fees, require review under the event terms and applicable law. Closing a checkout page or cancelling an event does not automatically refund a payment.

02Changing your mind about a selection

You can change the show, ticket type or quantities before reviewing a selection. Changing the show clears the quantities so you can choose from that show's ticket options. Use the change-selection link on the review page to make further adjustments.

A selection link may retain the choices encoded in its address. Opening or sharing that link does not turn the selection into a reservation, and it does not guarantee that those tickets will be available at checkout.

03If you bought a ticket elsewhere

For a ticket purchased from another seller or organiser, contact the business that accepted your payment. Your receipt or booking confirmation should help identify the seller and the applicable booking terms.

The presence of an event on E-ticket does not transfer an existing purchase to E-ticket. We cannot cancel an order held by another seller, access that seller's payment records or promise a refund on its behalf.

  • Locate your receipt, booking reference, event date and the seller's name.
  • Check the cancellation or refund terms supplied with your actual purchase.
  • Contact that seller through the contact details on your confirmation or its verified website.

04Cancelled, postponed or changed events

An event may be cancelled, moved to another date or venue, or changed by its organiser. A listing update does not itself cancel a ticket purchased elsewhere or determine whether that purchase is refundable.

If you already hold a ticket, ask your seller or organiser what the change means for your booking. Refund, exchange and transfer options depend on the terms of that purchase and any rights provided by applicable law. Keep the announcement and your booking correspondence together.

05Displayed prices and checkout fees

The selection summary is an estimate. Eligible checkout confirms current prices and adds the customer-paid 5% E-ticket service charge and payment processing fee before payment. A free ticket has no service or processing fee and only becomes admission when the booking is confirmed.

Before making a purchase, check the event's current price, any additional charges, and the cancellation and refund information presented for that booking. This page does not promise a fixed refund amount, processing time or eligibility rule for a purchase that has not been made.

06Questions about a payment or event

If you are unsure whether a message, charge or event listing relates to E-ticket, contact us with the event link and a brief explanation. If you have a payment receipt, identify the seller shown on it before requesting a refund.

Do not send full payment-card numbers, security codes, passwords or identity documents in a general support enquiry. This page does not limit any refund or consumer right that applicable law gives you.
