Who pays the service and payment processing fees?

The customer pays a 5% E-ticket service charge on the ticket subtotal after discounts, plus the payment processing fee. Both charges and the final total are shown before Paystack checkout. Free bookings have no fees. Upgrades charge 5% on the price difference plus processing; your existing ticket credit is shown before payment.

What does Paystack test mode mean?

Test mode checks the booking flow without collecting real money. Use only Paystack’s test payment details. Newly verified test bookings issue labelled QR codes and barcodes for testing ticket upgrades, venue access and check-in. A test payment does not create organizer revenue or payout funds.

Can I buy tickets on E-ticket now?

Eligible organizer events offer Paystack checkout after you review current availability and the customer-paid processing fee. The payment mode is shown before you continue. Test payments collect no real money. Newly verified test bookings provide labelled tickets for testing scanning and check-in. Reference listings are for discovery only.

How do I find an event in my city?

Visit the events page and choose a city, category or date. You can combine filters with a search for an event name or venue. Clear the filters to return to all current listings.

What does a free ticket option mean?

A free option has a published admission price of zero. Selecting it does not register you or guarantee entry. Check the event details and booking status before making plans.

How do I choose a date for an event with several shows?

Use the show selector on the event’s ticket panel. Each show has its own date and venue. Choose the show first, then select ticket quantities. Changing the show clears the previous quantities so you can review the right performance.

Does one group ticket cover more than one person?

Some published ticket options are packages, such as a squad or a table. Read the option’s description for the stated group size. The quantity counts packages, so it may differ from the number of attendees.

Why is a ticket option unavailable?

An option may be marked sold out, require a show date or belong to an event that has ended. Sourced listings reflect the information available when they were checked; organiser-published events use their saved ticket options. Displayed availability can change and does not reserve admission.

Can I save an event to my calendar?

Yes. Use Add to calendar on the event page to download a calendar file. For a series, the file includes the individual shows. Adding a reminder does not reserve tickets.

Which time zone is shown on an event page?

Dates and times follow the event venue’s local time. Nigerian listings display WAT, and Ghanaian listings display GMT. A calendar application may convert the same event time to your own time zone.

Can I change the tickets I selected?

Yes. On the review page, choose Change ticket selection. Your chosen options and show date are kept in the link so you can edit them. Changing a selection does not change an existing order. After booking, open the ticket overview to review an eligible upgrade to the next available tier.

What should I do if an event is changed or cancelled?

Review the organiser’s latest information before travelling. If you paid another seller, contact that seller using your receipt or booking confirmation. E-ticket cannot refund a payment it did not collect.

How do I report an incorrect event detail?

Contact the team with the event’s E-ticket URL, the detail that appears wrong and a source for the correction. Do not include payment card details or unnecessary personal information.

How can I publish my own event?

Open Create an event and sign in or create an organiser account. Add your event details, venue, local dates, poster and ticket options, then review the draft. You can save drafts before verifying your email. Open the verification link sent to your account email before publishing; you can request a new link from Email verification.

Create an event
Will my event have its own ticket page?

Yes. Once a verified organiser publishes an event, it gets its own E-ticket address for the poster, description, venue, schedule and ticket options. Drafts stay private. Eligible checkout uses the payment mode shown in Payment settings. Verified test bookings provide labelled tickets for testing admission.

Do I need an account to browse?

No. You can browse event details, read articles and explore ticket selections without signing in. An account gives you a customer dashboard, profile and security settings, and access to an organiser workspace if you choose to host. Sign in to complete an eligible booking and view its tickets. Verified test bookings are clearly labelled and support admission testing.

What do I need to create an account?

Choose whether you want to explore or host events, then provide your full name, email address, country, phone number and password. Use a phone number valid for the country you select. Passwords must contain at least ten characters and pass the security checks. Choosing Host does not publish an event or give staff access.

What happens if my email is not verified?

You can sign in, use your dashboard and create organiser drafts with an unverified account. Email verification is required to publish or cancel published events and to check in guests. Check your inbox and spam folder for the E-ticket verification email, or request a new link from Email verification. The link expires one hour after the request and can be used once.

Email verification
Where can I find my tickets and account settings?

Choose Your account after signing in. Your customer dashboard has My tickets, My orders, profile and security pages. These show only records belonging to your account. Empty lists mean there are no records to display; creating an account does not create a booking or issue tickets.

Open your workspace
Can I host events with my existing customer account?

Yes. Open the organiser workspace and choose Enable organiser workspace. Your existing account and customer records stay with you. You can then create event drafts. Email verification is still required before publishing or checking in guests.

Open the organiser workspace
Can I edit or delete an event after publishing?

You can edit or delete drafts. Published event details and ticket options are locked to protect existing records. A verified organiser can cancel a published event after confirming the action; cancellation preserves its records, stops check-in and removes public availability. It does not automatically send guest notifications or issue refunds.

How do I reset a forgotten password?

Open Forgot password and enter your account email address. If automated email is unavailable, the page says so. When it is enabled, a request is accepted without revealing whether that email belongs to an account. A delivered reset link expires after one hour. Changing your password signs out existing sessions. Never send your password to support.

What does Remember me do?

It lets your sign-in session last up to seven days. Without it, the session cookie expires with your browser session. Signing out ends the current session sooner. Leave Remember me off on shared devices, and sign out when you finish.

Why is there a security check on account forms?

Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect registration, sign-in and email requests from automated abuse. Complete the check before submitting. If it expires or a request fails, complete a fresh check and try again. The site also limits repeated attempts; if asked to wait, allow the stated time before retrying.
